Los Amigos thanks everyone who attended this year's Fall Fiesta and we extend a special thank you to our members and donors whose financial support allowed Los Amigos de Valles Caldera to donate the printing costs for the Fall Fiesta sticker that was passed out to visitors, the honoraria for the nine speakers and the stipends for the six cultural demonstrators.

We hope that you visited our booth to pick up a free Los Amigos pen and also submit your name and email address in the drawing for a REI gift card. We have selected and notified the winner. We look forward to seeing you next year.

Between Saturday, October 5 through Sunday, October 13 the Preserve welcomed over 4,000 visitors who explored the park during the day and took advantage of the after-hours park access. There was an artisan village with educational booths in the cabin district and daily guest speakers, ranger-guided programs, and cultural demonstrations at the Ranger Station. In addition to the festivities, there were regular elk hunts, visitors who reserved a backcountry pass, and many who came out at night for the enchanting aurora borealis. We hope you found this experience to be truly rewarding.
