Support the Design and Fabrication of Signs for the Valles Caldera

Hello visitors, hikers and winter snow enthusiasts!

Your financial support will help put much needed signage in place on Valles Caldera National Preserve. The Los Amigos de Valles Caldera 2026 Work Plan pledges funds, received from our members and donors, to support this effort.

Signs will enhance the visitor experience by providing interpretive information at several sites within the Preserve. Trailhead signs and markers on hiking and winter recreation trails will increase safety and provide guidance for those using the great trail network on the Preserve.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 by December 31 to be matched 1:1

There is an estimated $50,000 of sign-related costs coming up in the next 2-3 years for interpretive projects at History Grove, Cerro La Jara, Sulphur Springs, and numerous trailheads and hiking trails throughout Valles Caldera.
